Tip Calculator

This calculator computes the tip amount, total bill amount, and amount per person (optional).

1. Step 1: Enter the total bill amount in the "Bill Amount" field.
2. Step 2: Select the desired tip percentage from the "Tip Percentage" dropdown menu.
3. Step 3: Optionally, enter the number of people splitting the bill in the "Number of People" field.

The Tip Calculator helps you calculate the appropriate tip amount to leave for service, as well as the total bill and amount each person owes when splitting the cost.

The calculator first determines the tip amount by multiplying the bill amount by the chosen tip percentage. The total is simply the bill amount plus this calculated tip. When a number of people are specified, the total amount is divided equally among them.

The "Tip Amount" shows the gratuity to add to the bill. The "Total Amount" is the full amount you will pay, including the tip. If you provide number of people to split amongst, then the result provided will be amount each person has to pay
