Pavers Needed = (Total Area / Paver Area) × Waste Factor

Where:

  • Paver Area = Paver Length × Paver Width (all in feet)
  • Total Area = Area Length × Area Width (all in feet)
  • Waste Factor = 1 + (Cutting Waste Percentage / 100)

For Complex Patterns: Waste Factor is further multiplied by 1.15 (representing an additional 15% waste).

The final result is rounded up to the nearest whole number to ensure you have enough pavers.
